Press Release Summary: Luxury homes in Dorset look set to become even more 'James Bond' as a company installing bespoke integrated entertainment systems adds fingerprint recognition security to its offering.
Press Release Body: Kudos Sound and Vision has joined forces with the Dorset branch of UK Biometrics in a bid to make clients' homes more secure.
Kudos Director Mario Aquilina said: "With fear of crime high people are looking to new ways of improving home safety and securing their possessions. It seems logical to include high tech security measures to compliment the high value Smart Home and AV systems we install, offering enhanced security and extra peace of mind".
"I knew of biometric technology and its use, not only in government establishments but also in nurseries and businesses. I believe that there is a niche for private homes. Our clients use technology to enhance their lives and remove inconveniences. This device should definitely appeal, and will add wow factor."
Bournemouth-based Kudos Sound and Vision works closely with property developers and interior designers to integrate bespoke custom audio, visual and lighting systems in homes, businesses and even luxury yachts.
Sally Glover, regional director of UK Biometrics, said: "Fingerprint recognition has featured in espionage films such as Bourne Ultimatum but this product is very much Science Fact. It is becoming an expected standard and it seems there is quite a 'James Bond' market here.
"This is the first partnership we've formed with a company that specialises in home entertainment systems and we're excited about the opportunities it could bring."
Among the technology Kudos installs are plasma TVs that ascend from furniture or are inset into bath tiles, home theatre and digital storage of music and DVDs, all accessible via one remote control.
